Hope For Haiti Operations
uppon my first trip to Haiti following the earth quake I had the chance to connect with Mike Stewart, the in country director for Hope For Haiti. I have been working alongside Mike, since the day we met and am now onboard with Hope For Haiti as the director of operations. The operational ethos and tempo of the team is outstanding and the amount accomplished on a daily basis never ceases to amaze me. This little team works around the clock to make it happen and being on board is both incredibly rewarding and a welcomed challenge. This section is about getting the job done, and what goes down on day to day.
From all I have heard, you and Mike were non-stop, 24/7 for 6 months. I can imagine all of the lives you have touched; all of the smiles you have shared; and all of the goodwill you have helped to create. It’s there in these images of kids that I am looking at right now. For all of us Jesse, who didn’t have the fortitude, or courage, or resolve to go, thank you.
